FALL SEMINAR
New Date:  Sun Aug. 19, 2012

The District 1 Fall seminar will be held on Sunday August 19, 2012 at
Charles Moore Arena in Orleans, MA.  The ISI office has requested that
we host our seminar this year prior to the Labor Day Weekend to be able
to promote the Artistic Challenge which will be coming to Danbury, CT in
late November.  We hope that this early notification will help all coaches
to plan accordingly and be in attendance.  The fall seminar will go back to
its regularly scheduled weekend for 2013. Speaker and registration

DISTRICT CHAMPS PACKET and
NEW JUDGES CREDENTIALS INFO
The District Championships packet is attached.  We will be
implementing a judges credentialing system at District Champs (and
all District 1 competitions thereafter) that is similar to what is in place
at ISI National Events.  Coaches who do not sign up/take an
assignment to judge, is not certified, or has not taken the required
update test will be charged a $75.00 fee to put skaters on the ice
($100.00 for on site credentials)  Coaches who do not have a
credential will not be allowed in the skater/coaches area.  Judges
must comply with the 1 judging assignment per every 10 events which
is set forth in the ISI Handbook.  
      
      Coaches
  • Please be sure your facility director indicates your availability when the
    judges registration is returned.  If your name is not indicated on that form
    a credential will not be issued.
  • The $75 must be included (payable to ISI District 1) in order to receive the
    credential.  Please indicate on the judges registration that you will be
    purchasing a credential by still filling out the information portion.  Where
    it says 'I will not be available on', please write CREDENTIAL ONLY $75
  • Any coach who does not make arrangements to judge and has not pre-
    paid the credential fee with the team packet will be required to pay the
    $100 on-site credential fee.

       Directors
  • Please be sure ALL judges and coaches are listed on your judges
    registration with your packets.  
  • For any coach not taking a judges assignment, please indicate
    'CREDENTIAL ONLY $75" on Judges registration and include $75 for each
    coach that is not judging so they can receive their credential.  
  • Coaches WILL NOT be able to put skaters on the ice without either a
    judges credential or a paid coaches credential.  
  • On site credentials will cost $100.00.
